From Guadalajara to Tampa, One Chef's Vision
Chef Tisbeth Mejia was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, the birthplace of Mariachi and Tequila. She brought those roots with her when she opened Catrinas Tacos and Tequila Bar in Tampa in 2012, and every dish she serves carries a piece of Jalisco with it.

Fantastic taco spot in West Tampa. $2.50 tacos on Tuesdays, an excellent molcajete, and amazing homemade coconut mojitos. Highly recommend stopping by for food and a drink.
Great food! Served and cooked by Catrina herself! Amazing! We had the best coconut mojitos, which Catrina makes with all natural ingredients. Nothing artificial at all. We had a burrito, quesadilla, homemade chips and salsa. Really delicious food and highly recommend! 🩷
Such a great place! The food was excellent, the owner is fantastic , very helpful and friendly! I would give this place 100 stars if I could and will most definitely be going back again!
